  • Horrible and bad for your health

Prescriptions are late. Don't cover prescriptions the majority of the time. Closed on weekends, cannot find what they will cover. Will not send out remaining part of prescription if you do not have 3 months worth left. Send out the cheapest brand of the month so that you do not receive the same pills each month. Have had to pay for prescriptions out of pocket because their 3 month rule, needed prescription for 4 months, would not cover last month unless doctor gave me another 3 month prescription. I have never had so many problems. I have had to make doctor visits due to this company. More...

  • Terrible delivery service

I have new insurance and had to switch to the CVS Specialty mail order to get two medications. The first time using it took forever to get it set up because there were missing information and no one bothered to contact me. I even had my regular pharmacist call to get it straightened out. I ended up missing a few doses. The medication that I take can not be missed for any reason. I was supposed to have a delivery yesterday and I get home from work to find nothing waiting for me. I called and was told that the post office intercepted it rather than it go ups like normal. I am already one day... More...

  • No service

With over 10 years of great service with Prime Mail Blue Shield changed my mail order prescription provider to CVS/caremark. First they sent only 2 of my 3 maintenance medications. When I called they did not know the reason and assured me they would send out the missing prescription the next day by one day delivery at no extra charge. It never came. Two weeks later I got an emergency supply from local drug store as it was my heart meds and I had run out. When I finally got through to another person at CVS/caremark they had no idea why the order was not filled and they have no way of... More...

  • If you can-do not use CVS caremark

I was referred to the CVS caremark pharmacy by my insurance company. Apparently this company was the only one that I could use to order my medications. I spoke with the representative on Friday January 27th around 2 pm EST. I placed the order for refill of my medications and was told that the medication was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Luckily I called the caremark on Saturday myself to confirm the delivery. Otherwise I would have stayed home all day waiting for nothing. On Saturday I was told that there was a problem with my order and was told that someone would be calling me on... More...

  • Lost prescriptions and costs

I've had so many issues with this ridiculous company it's not even funny. I was on the phone with person after person trying to resolve an issue with an adderall prescription that was lost? like 3 times! I honestly believe that someone there was stealing my medication. It got to be comically and eventually infuriating! Now I'm getting bills for my synthroid meds for $60 for 3 months when I can go to Walmart and get it for $6/month! Really? Our company chose to work with you?!? I'm so over the lack of customer service at CVS caremark. More...

  • City of Chicago fire fighters prescription benefits

I experienced the worst customer service from someone named Dee yesterday who answers the phone in the customer service department of Cvs Caremark. She did not know how to use her computer, named the wrong drug that I requested, and kept me on the phone for 40 minutes. Someone like this should be transferred to custodial duties and not dealing with the seriously ill's medication issues. Please improve your service. It is enough to be the main caretaker for a parent, let alone to experience this time loss and incompetency. Cvs Caremark you should be ashamed of yourself. I will be... More...

After not resubmitting my claim to the MS assistance program for additional payment CVS stuck me with a $908 bill. I have been paying on it every month since they messed up the rebill. Took my payments gladly then no warning sent my account to a Credit Management service with, no joke the WRONG AMOUNT DUE!!! Didn't even credit me my last payment & I have all the receipts of payments. Called to find out WTH & thanks for a heads up or why no one contacted me to negotiate other payments and I was on hold FOR OVER 25 MINUTES!!! then transferred to their voicemail...very convenient... • CVS refilled my child's script with a dose 7X more than he is prescribed.

Just got back from CVS. They refilled my 7 year old who weighs 60 Adderall 5m script with a 30 mg capsule. It was a new refill and I was about to give it to my son this morning when I realized it was not the usual blue/yellow capsule but only yellow and larger. So when I looked at the bottle sure enough it was labeled 30mg not 5mg. I went to pharmacy and I was assured that it would have not been a lethal dose or even harmful to my little guy. I asked how can you give a person 6x the normal dose and it NOT be harmful! The reply by the clerk is we are going to refund your money and... More...

  • Horrible Service!

I recently was prescribed a new medication by my doctor to clear up an eye allergy caused by another medication I was taking. CVS Caremark would not allow the prescription to be filled because they wanted a prior authorization from the doctor. I called the doctor's office who stated they had faxed info to the pharmacy. When I called CVS Caremark to check on it it was told if the doctor's office faxed anything to them, "it's just not a priority." 10 days after the doctor visit I called CVS Caremark to follow up on it and was told they had denied the presciption... • Absolutly hate!!

I really hate CVS Caremark!!! I have spoken to representatives on numerous occasions and every one of the people I have spoken to have been horrible, unhelpful, and just plain rude. Ever since I started having to use them they have been nothing but trouble. For example: They force me to use their mail order service. I mailed in my prescription. I get an email a week later that they have received my order and will be processing it within 5 days. 2 weeks later I finally log into the stupid site to find that my order was canceled. They did not send me any communication whatsoever!!! The only... More...

  • Continually Deny Receiving Electronic Perspciptions

My wife goes to a pain management doctor and has to regularly have prescriptions filled. When she gets prescriptions there are usually 3 or 4 separate prescriptions involved. For one of these drugs CVS/Caremark continually manages to not receive the electronic prescription. Isn't that just a coincidence! Their Customer Service people of course deny that they ever received the prescription for this particular drug. So in order to get this prescription filled my wife has to call Customer Service, listen to their denial about having received the prescription, and then call the... More...

  • Worst Service Ever

During February 2015, we decided to take advantage of what was described to us by a CVS/Caremark customer service representative as an offer whereas we pay only one co-pay for all of our diabetic supplies purchased at that time, instead of paying each item’s co-pay. We ordered our supplies through our regular pharmacy, NOT CVS, and were advised they could not run the offer through. We contacted CVS and were advised it must be the pharmacy not running the prescription correctly and have them do it again. After several such tries, we were advised the pharmacy could not run the... • CVS Caremark Service is Horrendous!

After great prescription service from Express Scripts, my new insurance required that I use CVS Caremark. The experience has been an absolute nightmare. Even what should be the simplest task like ordering a refill is a huge pain. After ordering and providing all information, I discovered my order was on hold until I called customer service to confirm the order. I called and had to provide all my information again. Unfortunately, this was one of my better experiences with CVS Caremark. More...

  • cvs could care less about you they love your money though

this Company-nationwide-when they receive a prescription usually by e rx of fax-they fill it and charge all customers-they do not verify if the member is still on the medication-they send a robot call saying order received-now if the person has just gone to the doctor- they may assume it is the office renewing their rx for the year-if they are out of town and do not get the order received message-cvs caremark fills the rx wether it is correct or not and charges the individual-when the customer calls saying I am not even on this medication anymore or worse-you overdrafted my bank account-for... I contacted CVS Pharmacy in Chesterton, Indiana, recently to inquire about the cost of a prescription I was given in the ER for a diagnosis of pneumonia and a pleural effusion. I was quoted a price of $655.00 for GENERIC Levaquin. It is interesting/maddening to note that the same prescription was $84.53 at K-Mart. There is no justification for the unbelievable/illegal practices of overpriced prescriptions, especially those that are routinely priced at a much lower rate by other local pharmacies. I currently have no insurance, but I would be willing to bet that even WITH insurance, their... More...

  • CVS/Pharmacy 721 W. South St. Freeport, IL. 61032

Filled (4) prescriptions at CVS/Pharmacy in Freeport, IL. Total cost was $449.36. Upon further checking discovered I could purchase the EXACT same medications for $76 at Walmart or $26 at Shopko. Talked with CVS pharmacy and was advised they do not offer a price match or return. My lack of due diligence cost me bigtime. CVS Caremark settle a class action lawsuit by the FTC in 2012 for this same issue. The lawsuit even contained two of the meds I had filled by CVS. There pricing for those meds in the lawsuit are the same today as 2012. CVS is more than willing to settle for $5 million... More...

  • CVS Caremark violates HIPAA refusing to let me see my records

If you are also having problems with CVS refusing you access to your medical records, please comment. I know there must be others and I'm trying to gather others like me. They have refused to provide me with my records which is in direct violation of HIPAA. I have been told by multiple reps that they "never" release records to customers. When they finally agreed to send records (which I have yet to receive), they would only send the correspondence (e.g. stuff I already have). This was after 3 reps told me my records were in the mail when they clearly had no intention of... More...

  • CVS Caremark Medical Equipment Prescription Refill DEMANDS

I am a retired Letter Carrier. I carried mail for 28 years in Southwest Florida. My National Association of Letter Carriers, Health Benefit Plan mandates the use of CVS Caremark pharmacy. I am currently in the Denver area where there is the one and only CVS Caremark CarePlus pharmacy in all of Colorado. They have provided exemplary service for all my many medications. They however do not carry 'Medical Equipment', which the disposable needles necessary for my Diabetes management comes under. • Don't care about their clients!!!!

My wife is on a maintenance med. The doctor that she went to at a clinic left the practice right after my wife got her required 90 prescription. When my wife had a month left she called to get a refill and the clinic said she needed a new primary care doctor. Set appt (28 days) and she ran out of meds which have withdrawal problems. We requested a 1 month supply through CVS to get her through since new doctor would have to submit and the it is 2 to 3 weeks to get meds through CVS mail order. CVS rejected the request and basically said you have to use the mail order and you have to go... More...

  • Refused to pay for my refill with no warning

I have been on the same blood pressure medication for years. My doctor has me on this medication for a reason. Because it works best for me and the others do not. All of a sudden Caremark has decided this is not the best medication for me because there is no generic and they refused to pay for my refill. First.. YOU ARE NOT MY DOCTOR. Second..
