  • CVS Caremark won't process my claim

    I have been trying since June of 2016 to get this unbelievably inefficient company to process my secondary claim for reimbursement for my meds. First two claims they had no record of even though I sent it certified with a return receipt and someone signed for it. I have since submitted the claim at least 3 more times ,spoke to countless supervisors and still 9 months later I am waiting for them to properly process my claim.   • CVS Caremark mail order prescription services

    Identical problem for me. CVS Caremark bugged, bugged and bugged me to change my 90 day prescriptions from my local CVS Pharmcy to the mail ordering. I did so because my local CVS pharmacy has a "do not care" attitude, and the very first month of mail services, I received 30 day prescriptions that were 102.00 which is also the cost of my 90 day prescriptions.   • Terrible - Below the Mark

    CVS Caremark did not have the prescribed medication in stock in 3 of their local stores. I called for advise on how to handle it and was told I could go to another chain and just fill out a claim form and pay the usual ten dollars. So I did, sent in the claim form with a letter and two weeks later received a portion of what I was owed.   • UPSET!!!!!

    I think CVS Caremark STINKS!!! THEY FORCED me to do the 90 day mail in to save a whole 10 dollars (wow), thats big savings in my BOOK (NOT), just so they could deliver my meds to the WRONG address!!!!! I'm so furious!! How stupid can you be to send it to the wrong address, on top of that its freaking LATE, not just a week late THREE WEEKS late!!!     A prescription was sent to me without my authorization and without a credit card on file. When I received the medication, I immediately called and said I had not authorized it and it was not needed. The representative did not offer any suggestions and indicated this was my problem, not his. I informed him I would be returning the meds, which I did. Subsequently I received a bill.     My husbands' firm has poorly chosen CVS Caremark as their prescription provider for health insurance. Without any prior authorization, approval or credit card on file, CVS Caremark shipped me a prescription I did not need. Upon its arrival, I promptly contacted their 1-800 number to inform them this medication was not authorized and was not needed.   • poor service

    I recently retired and tried to switch from care mark to silver script which is also care mark but for over 65. I had 4 scripts to transfer and only 2 of them actually went to the new site. I finally got 1 more over to the new site but the 4th one is a real problem. I called them on the 10 of August and spoke to a cust service rep who never fixed the problem. It is now the 23rd of August and after talking to 3 different supervisors, I still can't get my medicine. Each one i talk to gives me a different story.     On 6/21/11 a CVS Caremark employeed contacted me to hard-sell obtaining my RX through Caremark in 90-day supplies via mail, versus going into the CVS pharmacy monthly. I agreed to renew my 4 RX via Caremark, and was told would be max 10 days until meds rec'd. It has now been 16 days, and the response given by Caremark was to wait until 7/15/11 before re-contacting them about my missing prescriptions. I have now been without my meds for over a week.   • CVS Caremark is terrible company

    I am at my wits end, I am forced to deal with CVS Caremark through our insurance provider. I have been trying to get the scripts corrected with the help of my doctorfor a year now. CVS will only send me a 90 day supply of the insulin(which is to stay cold) they only send me a 30 day supply and then blame it on the doctor's script that it is what they were sent. I have copies of all of the faxes of scripts that my doctor has sent to CVS and they all clearly state the dosage and how many times a day and that I need a 90 day supply.     CVS Caremark is not a good substitute for a pharmacy. CVS Caremark takes the patient out of the equation. CVS Caremark forces medicine on the consumer and will not allow the patient to return the non-needed medicine. CVS Caremark will work directly with your doctor while leaving out the patient in finding out how much medicine one needs. They total ignore the words, “AS NEEDED” on a prescription and will force as much medicine on you as they can.     Have been using an alertness drug for some time now.I never had any problems with Medco whatsoever.Caremark,since the end of the year has tried one tactic after another to avoid paying for this necessary drug.This matter was appealed,with verifying information before Dec. 31,2009.This appeal process was to take 30 days,max.     I refilled four meds. After waiting and no mail order I contacted customer service. One of the four would not go through. They said it is being faxed to my Dr. This I found out today was a lie. They were out of stock. If I did not call I still would be waiting. So by the time I finally got the three meds I was 8 days without my two blood pressure meds. Nice. More...

Caremark has the absolute worst customer service!! I was getting treatment for an ulcer during which the MD put me on Carafate 1gm QD. I was on the medicine for 3 months, well this is the magic number that Caremark considers certain medicines to become a maintenance medication. I didn't think anything of it at the time because I got better and was taken off the medicine but then the ulcer came back and my MD put me back the Carafate. I couldn't fill the medicine because Caremark was forcing me to mail order it. I tried calling them and explaining that I hadn't been on the medicine in some time so it wasn't maintenance and that I was in extreme pain with the ulcer, they didn't care. They said it would take at least 2 weeks to ship me the medicine if the script was faxed that day! It was a Friday of a holiday weekend, so let's go with 2 1/2 weeks minimum. So I am to delay treatment of my condition for 2 weeks? I'm an RN, BSN and that is just ridiculous. State of FL employees is switching to Medco January 1, 2012 and I called them and they said they would be more than happy to let me go ahead and fill a one month supply at my local Target. Thank you for real customer service. Take a lesson Caremark!
