CVS Caremark Sucks


CVS Caremark is not a good substitute for a pharmacy. CVS Caremark takes the patient out of the equation. CVS Caremark forces medicine on the consumer and will not allow the patient to return the non-needed medicine. CVS Caremark will work directly with your doctor while leaving out the patient in finding out how much medicine one needs. They total ignore the words, “AS NEEDED” on a prescription and will force as much medicine on you as they can. When you call to find out what is going on and why you are being over charged you get someone in India or some other country were the accent is hard to understand; of course, there name is always Bob, Sally, Susan, etc. Using fake names shows dishonest on the part of CVS Caremark. The second problem I have with them is they are suppose to pay 80% of the medicine I use, but they always find a reason to not pay most of their portion. In fact, I end up paying more than 60% of the medicine. Finally, the worst thing about CVS Caremark is they have removed the possibility of competition, because they will not let me do business with the pharmacy of my choice. As a result I get terrible service and over priced medicine.

If you are a company shopping for healthcare coverage for your employees, DO NOT chose CVS Caremark or you will have some very unhappy employees.

CVS Caremark SUCKS!

Caremark service is the worst ever. In order to maximize profit they ship through low cost UPS which dumps the orders to USPS and it takes forever for delivery. Their customer resolution center is sucky. 10 days since shipping and no pills. Find someone else. Shame on Tufts for using them. Time to drop both of these morons.

I just switched my prescriptions back to CVS from Caremark after being hung up on by a snotty representative who didn't see the problem with the fact that their computer thought I ordered the refills 8 days from now, to be shipped in two weeks..... when I have run out of my prescriptions already, and been in touch with their customer service for many weeks trying to get a refill.
At least at my local CVS, they know me by name and smile. They may cost a little more, but I will get my refills on time and without attitude.

I got a letter from my medical insurance inviting me to use CVS Caremark instead of CVS. I thought that CVS Caremark was CVS that just mailed your perscriptions instead of having to pick them up. Thank you for the warning, I won't switch now.

if you don't go pick up your medicine when they call then you wait a few days and go they'll tell you it was put back and you'll have to come back I think they do this as revenge for you not coming right when they call.

Caremark is lousy....don't buy any medical plan that depends on them. I have gout and is very painful and a drug for this condition is very well known as Colchine, but Caremark wouldn't arrange for my getting a few pills for Walgreens and had to wait 2 days in agony and it healled itself eventually. A week or so I got their mail pouch. They should have a protocall for this situation. ...but apparently not...they are morons and I am moving my company's business elsewhere.
