CVS/Pharmacy 721 W. South St. Freeport, IL. 61032 - levofloxacin (500mg 10ea)--clopidogrel (75mg 30ea)--atorvastatin (20mg 30 ea)--clonidine HCL (0.1mg 60 ea)


Filled (4) prescriptions at CVS/Pharmacy in Freeport, IL. Total cost was $449.36. Upon further checking discovered I could purchase the EXACT same medications for $76 at Walmart or $26 at Shopko. Talked with CVS pharmacy and was advised they do not offer a price match or return. My lack of due diligence cost me bigtime. CVS Caremark settle a class action lawsuit by the FTC in 2012 for this same issue. The lawsuit even contained two of the meds I had filled by CVS. There pricing for those meds in the lawsuit are the same today as 2012. CVS is more than willing to settle for $5 million when they probably make 20 times that if not more. Did some online research of CVS and was shocked by the reputation this company has. Do your own research and make your own judgement. Check your prescription prices and compare to CVS and make your own judgement. I for one, will never set foot in another CVS. Do not have a problem with a company to sell at a reasonable profit, But this kind of markup is nothing short of obscene.
