Horrible Service!


I recently was prescribed a new medication by my doctor to clear up an eye allergy caused by another medication I was taking. CVS Caremark would not allow the prescription to be filled because they wanted a prior authorization from the doctor. I called the doctor's office who stated they had faxed info to the pharmacy. When I called CVS Caremark to check on it it was told if the doctor's office faxed anything to them, "it's just not a priority." 10 days after the doctor visit I called CVS Caremark to follow up on it and was told they had denied the presciption because they faxed something to the doctor's office and he did not respond. I immediately called the doctor's office, and they told me they never received the fax. The same day I received a denial letter in the mail about the claim, and they had the wrong area code listed for the doctor's fax #. I'm still waiting to get my medication. Also when I call customer service I want an agent to be an advocate for me and help me, not just say "I understand" and repeat the company line!
